3 TikTok Goals for 2023

2023 is basically here already and we are so ready for it! 2o22 was an amazing year of growth, learning and success and 2023 will be even greater. Are you excited to start the new year with fresh goals and a fresh perspective? How are you going to make the most out of the year to come? Goals can feel overwhelming, especially in the new year but we are here to give you some inspiration on meeting the new year with a powerful successful attitude.

Lets talk about some goals you can have for TikTok in 2023!

1. Post Every Day

This one may seem daunting, and it can be if you overthink it and let perfectionism win. Posting everyday does not mean posting the "perfect" viral video and it may not even mean even creating a video every day. Posting every day can mean getting ahead by learning how to properly batch create your content. This means taking one day out of the week, month or whatever and making that your "content day". Set that time aside to fit 5,10,20 videos and have them ready to post for the upcoming days.

This allows you more time on other days to be creative, set goals, and to not feel overwhelmed by the need to be creating something EVERY single day. Another way to conquer posting everyday is to allow yourself to be imperfect. What happens to a lot of creators is they overthink their content or concept and ultimately end up not posting because it's "not good enough" to meet those invisible (and usually impossible) standards.

Post every day and you will see your channel and brand awareness grow. We strongly suggest tracking the numbers from when you start to the end of the year. Don't get too worked up over the numbers, but simply use them as a way to track your progress and motivational tool. Slow, steady progress will help you win.

2. Find Your Niche

Do you feel lost in who you are as a brand or as a content creator? You probably need to find your niche. A niche is a specific category or topic, for example make up artists, fitness influencers and musicians are all a specific niche in the influencer industry. There are so many different specific niches to be found on TikTok and across all social media. Your FYP can be a great example of niche content, your FYP may not be the same as your coworkers, sister or friends because you all have "niche" interests.

Finding your niche for your brand or influencer identity is important because it allows you to connect with a community that values your product, service and/or content. Scaling down to a specific niche can be tricky. Here are some questions you can ask yourself: what are you passionate about? What is your ideal customer passionate about? What kind of content are you drawn to? What kind of content is the most fun to create? Where do you see yourself/your business in 5 years? What do you want to be known for?

Asking yourself these kind of questions can help you narrow down who you should be finding on TikTok as well as help you create the right kind of content. If you need help deciding what kind of customers you are looking to target, get in contact with Clicks Talent to set up a campaign! Moral of the story: Find Your Niche!

3. Increase Brand Awareness

After making the goal of posting every day and finding your niche, another goal to focus on is increasing your brand awareness. Increasing your brand awareness means you are making your brand more memorable for your target audience. For example, when you think of shoes who do you think of? Nike, Adidas and Converse? These brands have great brand identity and awareness and are at the top of many customers minds when they think of shopping of shoes.

Now, what is your brand? What do you want to be remembered or recognized as as a business or influencer? Write these things down and then get to work. Work on your brand identity with a high quality logo, fonts and coloring. Create viral campaigns with agencies like Clicks Talent. Continue to post every day and engage with your audience on TikTok and other social medias.

Modern marketing is nothing without high quality engagement on social media.

Now what?

Posting every day, finding your niche and increasing your brand awareness will help you succeed on TikTok in 2023. These are just 3 goals you can make for the new year to watch your brand grow. Are you ready to get started? We would love to know what your first step is going to be in the comments!
